Hey, here's a rap? poem? I think its more like a reminder of what Jesus Christ has done for you and me. He has died for all our sins, saving us from the fire of hell! Do spend one or two minutes reading it. Its written by one of the Vineyard homeschooler, you know who you are! Still don't understand why you don't wanna let people know you wrote it la!                        :  The Promise  :

Sometimes when you feel that your sins have consumed you,
and there's no way to break free from all the torment it's causing you,
there's a verse in the bible that says "I will never leave you nor forsake you".
whose this man we all question?
whose this man in which loving us is His only intention?
that man's name is Jesus Christ.
He gave His life for a sacrifice.
For only His perfect life could suffice.
He was nailed to a cross broken and bloodied,
Yet He thought of you even through the things you did.
slowly He was tortured, nailed on the cross for your heavenly part.
He could have asked angels to save Him, yet from His sufferings He did not depart.
Slowly as the life ebbed from His crushed body,
He shouted His dying words.
"O Lord why hast Thou forsaken me".
And with that, He lay His head down and departed.
The Saviour, whose life had been given to all those who wanted.
Did the story end there? NO!
death could not contain him.
for in three days He rose again
He met with his desciples before He went home again
but before He went He gve His disciples one thing-
the Holy Spirit to help us with our new being,
if you accept that Man and believe His story.
you will go to heaven, to that place He's making for you eternally.
